Is Shopify’s Audience Network the Game-Changer We've Been Waiting For?

Shopify just announced the launch of its Audiences tool for Facebook and Instagram ads. 

The launch comes after months of Beta testing its ‘Shared Audience Network’ with select client accounts, and is now available to all Shopify Plus merchants.

This is big news for the industry, especially with Facebook struggling to recover lost ground post iOS 14.

Here’s what we know: 

  • You can create audiences based on the product(s) you want to sell
  • Shopify uses merchant data across its network to aggregate high-intent purchasers based on your selection
  • These shoppers are used to create a lookalike for you to run TOF prospecting campaigns
  • Shopify helps track the performance of your campaign(s) on its own dashboard

While some accounts we work with have seen good results during Beta testing, others’ results have been underwhelming.
