Retention Strategies That Actually Work For YOUR Business

Do you have a retention strategy?

No, we don’t mean paying for an email service provider — or even running promos for past purchasers.

Lucky for us, @heyitsalexP has some great advice on how to think about retention.

What’s more, she offers a different framework for stores at 1M, 10M, 25M, and above:

Now there’s a good place to start! Thank you, Alex!

#ICYMI - Sell More With Your Dynamic Ads With One Simple Tool

Dynamic catalog ads are one of the most effective ways to sell.

They save time (no complicated creative briefs!), show users the most relevant products based on their browsing history and preferences, and are highly profitable.

But how do you unlock more sales with your catalog ads?

Take a look at a test we ran for one of our users:

DABA testing with Socioh's Branded Catalogs

Notice how the CTR drops every third day?

That’s because the brand used a catalog design that just DID NOT resonate with its shoppers.

Learn how the brand tested its catalog design to get more sales from its dynamic ads.

#FeaturedAd - Material

Brand: MaterialCategory: KitchenwareFormat: Video (Story)

WHY IT WORKS:

Caught your eye too, didn’t it?

We didn’t think we’d write about an ad for a peeler, but here we are! Not quite sure what it is but this is an ad we wanted to keep watching.

The great video quality and minimal but pointed copy? The promise of good food? Or perhaps it is the satisfaction from watching a job well done — and that peeler does seem to be doing a great job! In either case, this company has our attention — and with a caption that promises forever-kinda quality, we’re definitely clicking through to their website to look at what other kitchen equipment they’re selling.

P.S. Advertising a peeler is a brilliant workaround if Meta’s advertising policy won’t let you run ads for knives, don’t you think?

The only thing that’d make it better? Sound — for some good old ASMR!

#BrandedCatalog Spotlight - Buyceps

Brand: BuycepsCategory: Nutritional supplementsTemplate type: Background removed with discount mapping

Socioh Branded Catalog designed by Buyceps

WHY IT WORKS

  • Transparent product images are used with a fitness-themed background to draw attention to the catalog.

  • Png image elements further add relevant visual cues to help highlight nutritional supplements for workouts.

  • Mapped discount helps highlight live promotions in the store, while the store's logo is added for brand recall.

Add backgrounds to your product images using Socioh’s Branded Catalogs. Learn more here.
