Has Shopifyâs Newest Launch Broken Your CAPI?
A lot of the accounts are reporting broken CAPI from Meta after Shopifyâs forced Checkout Extensibility feature launch.
If you were just force-upgraded to Checkout Extensibility on Shopify, check your CAPI from Meta.
It's broken on several accounts for us.

If youâre using Shopify, we suggest checking your CAPI now.
But what should you do if your CAPI is broken?
Reset your data-sharing settings. Hereâs how:
Hereâs the fix for Checkout Extensibility breaking your CAPI, if your CAPI is still busted.
- In Shopify click âSales Channelsâ on the left then under âInstalled Sales Channelsâ click the Facebook & Instagram channel.

Offering A Freebie? Ask For Something In Return
Are you offering your customers something free?
Asking for something in return will not hurt demand â and may even increase it.
Of course, the ask has to be something small, like a short survey, watching an ad, or writing a review:

We consider something free as different from any number (even $1), which disproportionately attracts us to free offers.
