Planning A Sale? Max Your Ad Budget 30 Days Before It
Have a big sale coming up?
Spend the majority of your ad budget at least a month before your sale begins.
Yes, you read that right.
Instead of spending on advertising closer to your sale, advertise on getting full-price customers a month before it.
See how @johnhickey1970 does it and why it’s a great strategy:
This is smart. New customers most likely to repeat in the 30-90 days after the first purchase.
So filling the customer file ahead of a big sale maximizes your top and bottom line for the event itself.

P.S. Not only do you get customers who pay full price earlier, you can also email them your sale details to incentivize repeat orders! 💯
Do This To Make Your Shoppers Buy From You Again
You know retention is key to lower CPA (cost per acquisition).

But how do you decrease the average days between orders?
Steal this strategy right from True Classic’s playbook:

As retention experts, our goal is to get customers to buy quicker, buy more, & buy for longer. This thread is about getting them to buy quicker.

Use ChatGPT To Find Profitable Audiences on Meta
Audiences are dead.
But are they?
Broad audiences are indeed outperforming most retargeting or even lookalike audiences on Meta.
However, that doesn’t mean you should retire interest-based audiences altogether.
They are continuing to perform well for several stores — especially for brands with niche audiences.
Here’s how you can use ChatGPT or Claude to find the next profitable audience for your brand:
Here's a prompt I've been using to brainstorm Interest audiences in Meta.
I know going Broad is the craze right now, but sometimes I like to throw in an Interest stack or two as supplementary to Broad.
Since LLMs aren't directly connected to Meta, the audiences the prompts… twitter.com/i/web/status/1…

#FeaturedAd - Beam
Brand: Beam
Category: Supplements
Format: Video (Feed & Story)
WHY IT WORKS:
Find making short video ads hard?
Keep it super simple and effective, like this 12-second ad by Beam.
With just 3 product reviews and product shots (combining packaging and in-use shots), the ad conveys not just what their product is, but also the benefits of their product.
And what’s better, you hear it from their actual customers!
In addition, the headline “Meet the Bedtime Blend that Keeps Selling Out” reinforces social proof with FOMO.
So if you’ve been sleeping poorly and want a soothing cuppa at the end of the day, you’ll likely click on this ad. We know we did!
