Want A Fantastic Q4? Here’s Your BFCM 2023 Checklist

We’re almost at the end of week 1 in September.
(How does time fly so fast?!)

And never mind what others say, if you haven’t yet, the time to start planning your BFCM is now.

Ready to get started? Here’s a preview of @AndrewFoxwell’s checklist for this BFCM:

  1. Consolidate your learnings from BFCM 2022: Creatives, copy, offers, audiences, scaling methods, etc. — this will help you plan your promotions for quarter four.

  2. Create a brief report on what worked for you so far this year:
Some questions to ask yourself — Is there anything different about your account this year? What campaigns have worked best? ASC? Broad? DABA? What about messaging and creatives?

  3. Make sure you budget enough time for media buying and creative needs: Start at BFCM weekend and work backward. Keep in mind that different stakeholders are involved in this process – their timelines may need to be factored in to make sure you have your ads ready before your promo begins.

… and there’s A LOT more in the checklist that you shouldn’t miss.

If this is your first BFCM, remember that scaling ad budgets may require you to tackle additional hurdles like increased staffing needs, more customer service, more supplies to be ordered ahead of time, etc.

Meta Pushing Lower-Priced Products In DABA Ads? Here’s What To Do

If you’ve run Dynamic Ads for Broad Audiences (DABA), you’ve likely had Facebook push your lowest-priced items.

This is because Meta is trying to maximize your sales within a reporting/optimization window.

Here’s what you can do to get Meta to work harder to get you sales:

Thanks Marin!

#FeaturedAd - Interior Define

Brand: Interior Define
Category: Home Goods
Format: Image (Story)

WHY IT WORKS:

If you’re doing up your home, you’re likely worried about how a piece of furniture will look and fit into your space.

And it’s not just size. It has to match your wall paint/wallpaper, and other accessories, the fabric has to look good and wear well… the list goes on.

And that’s exactly where this ad by Interior Define wins.

By offering 125+ fabric and leather options, highlighting key USPs (stain-resistant, pet-friendly, toxin-free), and promising 10 free samples, the brand really makes its target audience feel seen.

And did you notice the CTA? It’s not ‘shop now’ or even ‘learn more’ but “order free samples”. What a brilliant way to get relevant shoppers to your website!
